Learning As Leadership

Closing the Teach For America Blogging Gap

About the Author

I’m not Louanne Johnson.  I’m not Erin Gruwell. I’m not Jaime Escalante.

I’m just an average teacher. I’m not trying to save the world. I’m just trying to get better every day at what I do. I teach for very selfish reasons- I love what I do. Though teaching isn’t my first profession, nor do I plan on it being my last, it is ten times better than I ever dreamed it could be, and it is 20 times harder than I ever imagined it would be.

And yes, I know I have chalk on my butt.
